I wanted to take a minute and thank everyone on here who has taken the time to answer questions and write articles etc...

About 3-4 months ago I started reading the articles here and asking a few questions. I was trying to repair my credit (my scores were between 520 and 560), problem was that I was trying to do it in a hurry so I could buy a house by June. I followed the advice here and in 3 moths or so I was able to get a few negative TL's deleted and settled a couple others. Long story short I brought my scores from those low 500's up to between 650 and 680. Yesterday I got the commitment letter for my mortgage and should be in my new house by mid June.

Thanks everyone for the invaluable help! I was feeling pretty hopeless a few months ago and now I have a fresh start thanks to the advice I found here. It feels great to be back on track!

Congrats to you! That is great news!:D This site has helped me too. I'm still waiting on re-finance approval though, but I'm hoping!

thats amazing! i kinda have that same situation. my husband and i have been coming on here since Jul 2008 and we were at about a 512 across the board. now we are nearing i think 598? and hope to be looking to buy by May 2010!! congrats to you!
