Default My successes:)

I am going to start a little journal about all my successes that I have along the credit repair road.

I just got my updated reports from truecredit.com and I had 2 out of my 4 collections fall off all three reports PLUS the two that are left fell off of Equifax, which means they are only reporting on Experian.

Prior to this I had only disputed with TransUnion and Equifax, never Experian, so obviously they are going to still be on there. I have to admit though, I have only disputed online so far and have gotten those collections knocked off. I figure if they don't delete these accounts I'll just keep disputing.

I am so excited that I am down to only 2 collections on my reports! That is so awesome!

Now at the same time I'm also working on my husbands reports. His are not as good. He has A LOT of accounts on his report and most of them are closed/paid as agreed. They were all small loans when he was younger that he was never late on. So that is nice, but he does have a few that are hurting him and I just got done doing 18 disputes between experian and equifax. So we will see where those get us!

When I first got interested in repairing my credit my score was 491, and now it is at 557 (yes through MyFico). So it can be done... I have only been at this for 2 months now, so it is possible to get it done. I'm hoping if I continue to dispute things that my scores will go up.

I do have a question, we have a car loan that is in both my husband and my name, will it show on my report eventually? It's only showing on his right now.

Thank you for sharing your victories! That is great news.

I find truecredit to be very confusing and actually not accurate at all when it comes to scoring. (esp. if you are looking for Fico scores which most lenders - if not all will pull)

18 disputes? that is a lot - maybe you'll have some more luck. remember as suggested on this forum, sometimes it is best to dispute maybe 4 at a time as an FYI.

Let us know how it works out and the details. - esp. if you are disputing on-line, your comments in dispute and/or type of letters. I think that can all be helpful to others.

Shoot! I totally forgot about the 4 disputes at a time!!! Dang it!!!! Maybe someone up above will look down on me and grace me with deleting some!

My scores that I all post are all from MyFico.... I don't listen to the other scores... I can understand truecredit pretty well, I've gotten myself pretty aquainted with it

I'm sure you'll be fine. I have disputed much more at a time (not 18) in the past too. Maybe it'll increase your chances and you'll have more taken off - ya just never know - that is why we try!

Yeah, I can understand truecredit.com, but it doesn't help me much since I need FICO scores for the most part and the scoring with truecredit is completely different.
