TU has also removed my old addresses and with that came two deletions of two old collection accounts. I didn't even send in a dispute on those either. I've been trying to be very careful and follow the instructions in the beginner's section to the T. :D I have since opted out for my husband and recently sent in letters asking for old information be deleted off his credit files too. I heard back from Experian on his and have to send them some information and I have to follow up in another couple of weeks to see if I can see why they won't remove old addresses. Also, I received a letter from Equifax yesterday on my husband's credit report showing where his old mortgage lender removed all his old late payments. I hadn't disputed it yet, just opted out and sent a letter requesting informatin be updated. :rofl:

A couple of updates for this month... I am still battling with Experian to get rid of old addresses, some of them not even mine... I got the same reply back as last time so I am going to do a bit more research on that before I go any further with them.... I am also working on my husband's credit report and I've had some success with his as well.... I was able to get ride of an old mortage company that there were some late payments with completely off Transunion and updated with Experian. I am still waiting to hear back from Equifax with that... That was good news!! Also, I was able to get an old charge off account of mine, a department store card, off my Equifax report... I have just sent my dispute in with TU.... I am making progress slowly but it's better than nothing :D

I figured I better come back and update on my journey.

Since last April, my scores have went up to
EX- 634
TU- 610
EQ- 610

We had our scores pulled for a home loan, so that is how I know my EX score. I am still trying to deal with one company that won't mark that we paid them, but other than that, I'm happy with where we've gotten to. I'm going to be applying for a home loan in the next few days again, hopefully something will turn up.

I haven't posted in awhile and I am finally getting a chance to get back to credit reports and budgeting after battling a personal illness. I have been working on my husband's credit report more so than my own. I have raised his credit score significantly and he was able to get a good car loan through a major bank this summer. I also got a tax lien removed from my credit report without any problem. I am working on getting credit cards paid down, unfortunately a lot of unexpected medical bills. Things have definately improved over this past year

Since May we've applied again for another house loan and my scores are where we need them, but my husbands were down a bit since his student loans just kicked in, so we're waiting per our loan officers request for 30 days, which will be up in about 10 days, and she'll pull them again! We're hoping to get financing for a farm we've been looking at!!! Please wish us luck, we really need to relocate to a place closer to where my husband works.

Just another little update on success stories for hubby and I! I disputed two paid medical collections on his CR and they both came off all three without any fuss. I also had my banruptcy removed from Transunion! So onto the next disputes and we'll see how those go!
