There is no set amount of points a score goes up or down, the scoring algorithms don't work like that. There are so many other factors that make up your score.

Wow. so i just went over the credit report again. this account that they are deleting shows up 3 different times! the first is the reporting to all 3 bureaus all three show different amounts. the second is the account with a different variance on just equifax and experian and the third is a collection agency that bought the account. so tomorrow i will be sending a copy of the letter i received from HSBC to the collection agency. woo hooo!!! In total this account showed up on my credit as $3,750. and its only one account for $939!! |

Also, in regards to this account, I figured since they admitted it should not be on my credit would it be safe to go ahead and ask them to delete all 6 inquiries??

actually i just took a second look at my credit file and pretty much all of the inquiries will be falling off from last month to december. they are all from late 2006. should i just ignore them? also there is one still showing from august of 2006. should i send a letter? or maybe give it somet time to fall off?
