It's completely unnecessary.

I've never made disputes using certified mail.Technically the CRA's Aren't supposed to delete inquiries from what I've heard, but I guess I got lucky.

I suppose you can do that if you wanted to. I had my old addresses removed because I didn't like having them on my CRs and it was recommended on this forum.

In short, you don't really have to, but some lenders may see you as a risk if you move too much.

You should always have AS MUCH information as possible removed.
When the CRAs verify your info with the CAs/OCs, there are, I believe, 3 things that need to match up when they cross check....i.e. your name, ss #, address.

When you get an addy or name variation deleted from your report, that's just one less thing they are able to verify......making it easier to get a TL deleted.
That's why EX always seems to be more difficult. They refuse to delete any addy that's tied to a TL.
I've noticed a couple times with EX that once, the addy is gone, the TL is easier to delete (and vice versa).

I hope that all made sense....

It did to me. I had forgot about that and is part of the reason why I decided to have my addresses removed.

How important is your personal info on these things? They have my old address but they have my new one too. I haven't lived at my current place for more than a few months, and I think its TU that has my date of birth wrong, the year is wrong.
