Default Judgement Removal Attempt

Ok People,

Hello. I have a question for everyone and feedback is definitely appreciated. about 1-2 years ago I had judgement placed against me from Capital One & JC Penney, They went to Lawyers agencies from there. The judgement was placed against me and I bit the bullet and paid these items in FULL. Now, I must state that before even making a payment I tried like HELL to negotiate with these people to have this removed from my CR. I kind of regret even paying these people because they already had began garnishing my employment wages for like $10.00 a Pay Period and I ended up getting L/O from my job about 4 months later.

Anyhow, I paid them in FULL and these judgement's are listed as paid in full. I read some previous forums about tips on removing a judgement, and because they were garnishing my wages through county court, I didn't try to dispute with things like "Please verify Info" or "Not mine" because I figured it would have been easily verified. Well I left it at that for a year and here I am again now trying to remove old items and paid collection accounts. I was successful at removing one thing, but my CR is riddled with old PAID items. I'm not trying to get credit anytime soon, it just irritates the HELL out of me to still have this crap on my CR especially since I paid it. Well I pulled my Transunion again and started doing disputes again. My first focus was on trying to get these judgement's removed again. On my CR it lists 2 dates: Date Filed and Date Paid. These dates are the same exact dates. Was some kind of loophole left wide open for me? My dispute was this. I paid these items before a judgement was placed. This was a check box option. What does this sound like to you guys? Do I have a chance at finally ridding myself of these items? What other routes can I pursue to remove these?

OK I have an update on this. I did a court records search and found that there seems to be only one docket listed with this same court. However I clearly have 2 judgement's from the same court system. As I said previously, these were PAID judgement's. After reading the main forum listed here for helping with judgement's does this disputing process apply to PAID judgement's as well? C'mon by the way. There is definitely people reading these forum posts. I would really appreciate some input on this.

Judgments are tough to remove. I have one I am suing on. I have one judgment, but transunion lists 2. equifax lists a judgment out of another court. I would dispute, then ask for method of verification. They do not verify with the court, but a vendor, they refuse to name.

If the Judgment was PIF you need to draft a spectacular GW to the judge who granted the judgment, and ask for a dismissal. You can also GW the OC. It can be done, there are lots of avenues. You must put the time into researching.

Dont give up!
