Question Trying to get a bankruptcy removed

I am trying to get a Bankruptcy removed off my credit report. I called the Bk court and they said they don't report that stuff that the CRA just puts it on there. So I called the CRA and they said it has to stay on there for 10 years regardless. My thing is we dismissed this bankruptcy so I dont think it is neccessary to remain on my credit report. Is it possible to dispute them and get them removed or do we just have to wait it out? Thanks so much!
