Default PFD for valid judgment

A couple questions about judgments.
1. I am wondering if it is possible to PFD for a judgemnt(medical) that I know is mine and I already disputed with the CRA's. All the info is correct. I did read the Guide To Disputing/Removing Judgments but this is when info is incorrect.
2. I have another paid/satisfied judgement, they are both under the name LDC collection systems, is this the court or another company?
3. I know that paying off old TL's doesnt always help your score but how about judgments?
4. The other judgment I have I just disputed the remaining balance and it just came back satisfied. Now can I send the procedural request letter and go this route?

thanks

No, unfortunately....you cannot do a PFD on judgments.

Even if the info is correct......you should still go through the disputing process like I posted. The thing is.......it is NOT the courts that are reporting it. It is 3rd party reporting companies like Lexis Nexis. The CRAs won't admit this.......so they will state that it's the court system that is report it. Wrong. Lie. I still think it would be in your best interest to try and get it removed.......paid or not.

Now as far as your score.....now this is just my personal experience (and hopefully others might weigh in on this) but the judgment that I (and my husband) currently have did not make an impact on my score. I do not know why. AND it was unpaid. So......I really don't know if it makes a big difference on your score. What it will make a difference with is trying to get credit cards and loans. Potential lenders DO NOT like to see judgments.

On #4.....can you elaborate more? Did you send the exact letter as posted in the "removing judgments" thread? Or did you send a different letter disputing ONLY the balance.

thanks.

I think I may have got a little confused on which judgment experian verified already. I did online disputes for both I have, the paid and unpaid. The problem is when I recieved the letter from experian showing the items they invetigated the account # and oc/ca are exactly the same, Acct.# 34....... So the one that "remains" is the unpaid and the pending is the one that is paid; I believe.
For both I disputed that the remaining balance was incorrect.
Hopefully this didnt confuse you as much as me and is what you were asking for?!.

Ok, yes......you will need to start the dispute from scratch then. Do it via mail CM only (not RR). Use the dispute letter in this thread. Then see what kind of results you get.

Since you disputed them online, it was more than likely done electronically.......and since you only disputed the balance, they may have actually looked into that and changed it but that does not help in the removal process.
