Is it violating HIPPAA laws if you have an outstanding hospital bill, that eventually was sold to a collection agency & turned into a judgement? Isnt it illegal to send your health info to other companys?

No. The CA usually has very limited info on a medical acct. They just know there is a debt, you owe $xxx amount, the date of service and health care provider. |
