Spammer alert

For anyone that's been receiving odd PMs with a link.
IGNORE them and just report it/flag it (exclamation point in the top right corner of PM or post) and the admin will ban them.

I've gotten like 12 PMs from the same spammer... under 2 different screen names. So I'm assuming there are other members getting these too.

They are just trying to sell pharmacy meds. :rolleyes:

Yea, this forum gets attacked pretty badly by spammers of all kinds.

I just deleted about 50 spammers that sign up just to post a link in their signature or profile. It's becoming too much...so, I deleted the homepage field and no longer allow signatures, except from moderators and administrators.

I have also changed the CAPTCHA system on the registration page and added some other new anti-spam scripts. And now, private message spam.

Why can't they just leave us alone?

They obviously can't or won't pay for advertising.....so they have to bother us and probably 50 other forums too trying to promote their product for free. :rolleyes:

I know....it's annoying.

That is so strange! :confused:
I have not had any problems getting on and I've never seen that error message. Are you sure it's not security settings? Do you have your browser set on high security maybe?
