Yankees pay $28 million for Roger Clemens

Since it is pro-rated, it will be closer to $22 million. They say he will pitch about 24 games this year.

Clemens hasn't really had a bad year, but he is now 44 years old. Is Steinbrenner off his rocker? Or did he make a great deal that will save the Yankee's season?

Well, I absolutely hate the Yanks, so I'm hoping it will be a bust. Unless he has another amazing season, it was a ridiculous deal. I think he'll put up good numbers, but not $22 million dollar numbers.
