Question Newbie Questions about Charge Offs

Alright, so I have my credit reports.

I am seeing that I have a couple of charge off accounts, that have been written off, and are scheduled to be removed from my credit report. I know that this question may seem silly...BUT...am I still liable for that debt?

In my head it makes sense that I am.

Thanks,

Zeek

Yes you are though it may go off your credit report it doesn't remove the debt. Now having said that the sol might apply depending on the state your in,and if it applies choice of law.It doesn't stop them srom sueing you but it gives you a defense to have it dimissed by the judge.
