SS num on CR not mine??

i pulled CR 2 days ago and found a wrong SS num in my personal info. it was linked to an account past due for cable TV. i disputed ss num to credit bureau ad they deleted it. will they delete the account for cable Tv as well because of that if i dispute?

The only way to find out is if you dispute it. No one can tell you what the CRAs will do.

thats not a bad idea to dispute it and see what is causeing the problems on your report.

i disputed it at the same time but they kept asking me " are you a victim of identity fraud?" i kept telling them i just want the ssnum removed. it was eXP that it was on. they were acting as if i were lying about the other ssnum not being mine. it was 1 num off from my ssn so i guess there was some kind of screw up some where? i dont know
