I'm considering hiring a company called Allied Credit Solutions in Texas. They have no negative traces on the Internet and appear on Facebook since beginning of 2010. They want a significant chunk of money to be put in escrow and paid if they get any deletions, but imply they will do much better than just one deletion. With very little internet record, I am wary of them, but if they are more successful, it would be well worth the money. They argue it is not worth there cost to have disgruntled customer that would tarnish their internet record, and thus claim they will perform well. Thoughts? I'd like to find a reputable firm that is very skilled at this to clean up my report and am willing to pay a premium for good service, but don't want a firm that just files run of the mill disputes and charges alot for doing little. |

What are they going to do that you cant do for yourself? I have been doing it for myself and a few of my friends and I am ready to charge a small fee. |

They claim to have some strategies such as asking court for copies of public records timed such that when CRA asks the file is not available, and thus can't be confirmed and repeat this until timing works. Also, they claim to ask for detailed records from OC in such a way that they won't follow the FCRA and thus get deletions on tradelines, etc. It makes sense to me that a company doing this full time might have some strategies that work better than just run of the mill disputes.

The CRAs don't communicate directly with the courthouse. They use E-Oscar. The only way to verify any public record with a courthouse is in person (call any courthouse if you don't believe this) and we all know they don't go their in person. So, technically every time it comes back verified, they are falsely verifying it and breaking the law.

They offered some referrals I could talk to, but it's been a week and no word back, so it seems they have no referrals to offer. I guess I'll keep looking for a better company and stick with Lexington Law for now.
