Default Disputing a Debt After 30 Days

I received a letter from a CA over 30 days ago. The letter states that I have the right to dispute within a 30 days period, or they can assume the debt is valid.

Should I dispute even though I'm pass the 30 day window? The debt is mine so should I skip the verification process and go for the PFD now?

Mike

You can still ask for debt validation. It's up to you, if it's your debt and you have the money to pay it, you may want to just pay it if they will remove it for you.

So, if I ask for a PFD, and they don't agree to remove? Can I still go back request validation?
