Default Father's credit card showing up on my report

In 2002 my father made a subsidiary(not sure about the correct term) credit card for me from his account with bank of america. He closed the account in 2006, it is marked as bad debt (he filed bankruptcy).

I have had around 4 different accounts since then which are all in satisfactory condition, no late payments etc. I just found out that transunion has listed my fathers account on which I had the subsidiary card as bad account on my report and it will stay there until 2013.

Is this an error on their part or is that account supposed to be on my report?

It's something that can be disputed if it's questionable. Is it showing up on your other credit reports or just TU?

Yea, I would just dispute it. Send TU a letter. Don't give details, just tell them that it doesn't belong on your credit report and that you would like to dispute it.
