I've reached a plateau. And it's frustrating. I have improved my score by over 100 points (519 - 626) and can't seem to make anymore progress. Here's the problem I'm having: I have two HSBC CO's that are out of SOL. No CA's are reporting these because both broke the law, I sued, won, and debt was extinguished as part of settlement...(they threatened to come over to my house w/ the Sheriff and repossess my belongings, and left that on a voicemail!) Anyway, the OC keeps verifying each time I request an investigation. This recent time I sent a DV to the CRA's. Equifax came back saying the accounts were not reporting or have been removed previously. Exp, and TU say the accounts are verified. HSBC has not verified with me! I recently disputed the payment history as reported incorrectly. It shows a series of late status like this: 30 60 90 120 180 180 180 CO CO CO, then reverts back to 60 90 120 etc. So I sent DV to CRA and verification request to OC. Exp and TU have verified it, but deleted ALL payment history!! Should I just keep disputing it over and over? Or is it time to hire a credit repair agency? (would they get different results?) Also, I have a Chase CO that is out of SOL according to my records, but not theirs. They verified with me in writing saying they have recorded calls of me discussing the account and that this alone indicates the account is mine. I know there are recordings of me with a CA discussing this account...that CA lost a lawsuit for breaking the law by the way! |

are you disputing the Chase account as not yours? if not, what does thier claim that they have recordings of you admitting its your account have to do with anything? as for the other issue where the OC keeps verifying, what is your dispute on that case? |

The others I have disputed as not mine first...then saw that they "re-aged them to show 60 days past due instead of charged off...so I disputed the accuracy of the payment history, so now that was all just deleted, but the account remains in a "charged off" status. Now I just re-read my lawsuit settlement with the CA for one of the accts. and noticed that the CA agreed to pay the OC AND request deletion of the account...however, they never did. I'm sure that doesn't obligate the OC to actually delete it. But I'm going to send the settlement statement to EXP and TU and let them know that the settlement should have deleted the account. I should note that Efax deleted BOTH hsbc accounts with the second dispute...but exp and tu won't do it...yet. |
