How can I delete old addresses from my credit report?

How do I delete past addresses that are not current any longer? This is my 1st day on this site and I'm learning so much; however, my hubby and I are wanting desperately to clean up our credit and it seems so overwhelming.

We've moved a lot over the last 8 years due to my hubby's job and both our CR have every single address we've ever lived and maiden names too. How do I go about deleting this info and just having the current?

Yes, that is correct. All you have to do is dispute the old addresses. Don't give them any reasons, just say that they are in accurate and that you want them deleted.

Do I have to actually list them or can I just say please delete all accept, blah blah blah....?

Yes, list each one that you want deleted exactly as it is listed on your credit report.

Actually on Experian they will only delete name variations, phone numbers, and address if they are not tied to a tradeline. Each address, name, etc has a number and if this number is not associated with a current tradeline they will delete it. I forget the phone number but this can be done on the phone thru there automated service. I have done as many as 25 or so at a time. Some addresses are listed multiple times for each tradeline they were or are associated with.
