Smile Initial disputes returned, next step needed

I just received my TransUnion disputes and Equifax disputes back. I am disputing five items on each report (I had to resubmit Experian).

For Equifax, they deleted two items but three remain and say: "Equifax has verified that this item has been reported correctly"

For TransUnion, they deleted one item and four remain. One says: "New Information Below" and three say: "Verified, No Change".

What is the next course of action I should take?

Thanks in advance! I'm already happy to see that in 35 days, 30% of the bad items have been removed!

I guess it really depends on what the accts were that came back verified.
Are these OC or CA accts? Are they reporting correctly? are they out of SOL?

And it's definitely good to see some deletes! That's good news! :D

yw.

Well... if the OC accts are not reporting correctly, then you can send them a debt verification letter.

Send the CA a DV letter and see if they can properly validate the debt.

I am assuming these accts are out of SOL. If they aren't....then you need be just be aware that they can come after you for the balance of the debt.......and if it's a significant amount and you're not willing to pay or make arrangements..... they can try to sue you.. Just don't want you to poke a sleeping bear....if you kwim.

Hi Trish I need your help I send a dispute TU but did not hear from them more then 30 days later. They delete three accts but verifed one. So I send them another letter saying they did not respond on time to my dispute and they send me ten days later. A letter saying the creditors previously verifed as accurate and that they consider the dispute frivolous and will not reinvestigate the item. please help
