Default Question about NCO

I pulled my credit report and decided to start the process of getting my credit back on track. I was surprised to see how many medical bills are on there. NCO has an account of $92 , same account #, Same date listed 6 times. They also have an account of $132 , same account # etc. listed 4 times. Are they allowed to list the same account multiple times? It doesn't give much detail on the accounts other than starting date which is the same for ALL accounts. I am sure that I didn't have a medical bill from the same hospital 6 times! So my question is are they allowed to do this? Is this legal??

NO. They are not allowed to list the same debt more than once. You should dispute them all with the HIPAA medical dispute letter.

Then IF any of them come back verified, you can do the HIPAA process where you deal ONLY with the healthcare provider (if it is a legit debt) and the CA will never see a penny...
