Default SOL question - when does it start, which state to use?

Trish,
I've been reading everything I could on this board being that I'm just starting my journey but I have a question. Reading several publications saying that the SOL starts "date of last Activity", or when written off my question is , which is tru? I thought it was the date of the first del. Also I moved to Texas almost seven years ago from another state so Which SOL do I use? The state I moved from SOL was 4 and 6 years respectively and the state I live in now is 4 years acroess the board. Any advice?
Thank You

The reporting SOL for collections/charge offs(bad debts) is 7 years from DOFD with OC.

The SOL for the state you currently reside in.

Not always if its choice of law and the court agreeds. When you leave a state the sol freezes.Until you return could be 10 years or longer. Also have to check the cc agreement it might be under del,or utah law!
