Default Does one successful dispute letter work for all 3?

Hi,
Does one successful dispute letter work for all 3? I sent a dispute letter to Transunion asking them to remove a derogatory item due to mitigating circumstances. Surprisingly enough, the did! Do I also need to write the other two credit agencies and ask them to do the same, or will they follow suit with Transunion automatically?

Thanks

Unfortunately you have to write a separate letter to each CRA......and they hardly ever follow suit if it's to our benefit.

If it worked for TU, send the same letter to EX and EQ.. just be aware that they don't always do the same thing. So it may not be as easy... but you should try.
