I am in the process of trying to clean up my report. It consists of all low dollar amount of less $250 dollars. I was planning on using a combination of PFD and HIPPA since some are medical. However, I am in Florida and since it does not allow for restrictive endorsements does that mean PFD and the HIPPA process are not usable? I am thinking basic dispute letter and 1 2 punch maybe the only viable options. Can someone please advise on using PFD and HIPPA/medical techinique in Florida? Thanks, Casper |

I would say that you would still be good regardless of the state since most of this stuff is based on federal law. That being said I am not a credit repair lawyer or any kind of lawyer |

A PFD, if handled properly, should not be done by way or restrictive endorsement. You should make a PFD offer without sending any funds. It is a contract offer, with terms for deletion in exchange for payment. If they respond with an acceptance, then you have a contract, and then you send them the funds. Sending the funds with your PFD offer under restrictive endorsement that their acceptance of the funds constitutes an agreement to delete is not the usual method for nailing down a PFD agreement. |
