i had a look @ my cr and saw the new tradeline, so i sent a dv letter cm, then when i received the green card i disputed w/ the cra.

ca dunning letter dated (1/13)day after stamp on the green card
cra green card dated (1/15) dispute verified letter dated (1/18)

seems amazingly fast for this process?

so i should send a letter suggesting that i have not received proper dv and have just cause for filing a violation letter if not rectified?

thanks for the time

send a follow up letter to the CA (see below I included a copy of the one I used). If they still do not send any validation after the second letter, check out what scorepro posted earlier and follwo those steps to file a complaint against them and then negotiate to have them remove the listing for not filing a legal suit against them. I am in the process of filing a complaint now with the Office of Financial Regulation in my state...

Good luck!!

RE: Account #

Dear Sir /Madam,

I sent you a request to validate a debt reported by your agency on my credit report (account # ) on _____(date)_____.

According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), I have a right to request a validation of the debt and you are obligated to provide me with the relevant documentation. I have received no reply from you except for the confirmation of receipt of my letter on _____(date)_____ ( A copy of the signed confirmation of receipt is included).

You are now in violation of the FDCPA and subject to a fine of up to $1,000.00, which I may collect by filing a claim. I intend to continue with this suit in case I receive no further communication from you within 10 business from the date on the confirmation of receipt for this letter.

This may result in a black mark on your standing and has the possibility of landing you in a serious legal dilemma with the FTC and possibly other state or federal agencies.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS.

Thank you,

[Your Name]

Scorepro, I have a question for you. I am mailing a complaint to the FL Office of Fin Reg today. I am wondering if it would be a good, or very bad, idea to send a copy of the complaint to the CA along with a letter advising them to stop reporting the account with all three bureaus or I will continue to take further legal action. Not sure if it will help or hurt at this point. Also, you said you were in Florida too, and could refer someone if I decided to take legal action. First of all, is it wise to go that route if the account does belong to me? I would think it would be ok, because they had a legal obilgation to verify and didn't... I would like to have the info for the legal referral if you don't mind. Not sure if I am exactly ready right now to take that route, but it would be nice to have the info just in case.

thanks!!
