Stinkin Wells Fargo!!

Ok so this is my first post but I am so glad I found this place! I feel as though I will gain a wealth of knowledge from here and can't wait. On to my dilemma....

I leased a car from Wells Fargo in 2002 and two years into the lease, 2004, they changed the terms so I told them to come pick it up. Harrassing calls ensued and eventually I was summoned to court. I got a lawyer and long story short the case was dismissed WITH prejudice. I still cannot get these grimy people to remove it off my credit report. I have disputed it twice and they have confirmed it to the bureaus twice. I have called them and they say they have no record of the ruling, even after i fax them the court documents! How do I get this off as I am trying to buy a new house and this is not helping my score.

If it was a turn in repo it will stay on your report as a repo.regardless what the court ruling is,what was the basis of the suit

Is actually on there as a charge off/ sold to another company but it shows up as potentially negative, and they were trying to sue for lease termination penalties, but they changed the amount of insurance coverage required on the vehicle mid-lease making my insurance jump astronomically. They could never produce an original document stating the requirements at signing so the case was dismissed.

Their lawyer had the nerve to tell me that just because the case was dismissed doesn't mean the debt is not valid. I was blown away.

He's right.Is it fair NO!you won and lost,it can stay on your report.It can never be refiled by him.Send a ITS letter to wells fargo.:confused:

What exactly does your dispute to CRAs say? What exactly are you disputing?
