Default my dilemma

Chase Bank credit card...should be outside SOL as according to the payment history obtained by Equifax (they say they verified this when I disputed it) it was 60 days late in 8/2006. SOL in Colorado is 3 yrs. However, I accidentally sent a payment to the wrong Chase account and it was posted to THIS account. Did that just renew the statute of limitations rule? Does the date of first delinquency still play a role in this? The payment did not bring the account current.

Then no.. it did not reset the SOL. The ONLY way to reset the SOL is by bringing the acct current.....OR entering into a new agreement/contract with the creditor..
