I have three open collections accounts that I want to remove from my CR. I'm not sure how to go about this, I have been reading through the forums but I'm getting overwhelmed. One is from Account Recovery for $65 which I believe may be an eye exam. One is from General Service Bureau. My credit report says its $96 but I called them to see what it was for and they said it was 6 different accounts that add up to $190. I told them I had no idea what it was and they said they would send an itemized report but haven't seen anything for two weeks. The last is from NCO Financial for $352 for a medical bill. What do you think my starting point should be? If I send a PFD letter how likely do you think it is to work? If they accept and delete it can never show up on my report again can it? All help is appreciated . . . I really want to do this right.

Hi and welcome

First of all......stay off of the phone. Do EVERYTHING in writing.
You should start off by reading this...

And it can be overwhelming at first.....just take it one step at a time..
See if that helps. If you still have questions, feel free to ask.
