Thanks.
I'd say that's a pretty good turn out! Congrats! :2thumbsup:
Were the disputes done yourself or through a CRO?

I using the Credit specialist - the same one that I've mentioned in the begining he was able to remove 90% of the negatives - he Delete them - BTW I think Experian just came in.the mail today. I wonder If the same onces got removed from EX as the once on EQ. I will let you all know later. Now just waiting for TU.

Do you know if they check against other agencies - TU runs my credit kind of 1 in 3 report?

That's great! Maybe not as good as EQ but definitely better than nothing.
If you are still using the credit specialist, then let them continue to dispute for you..... You don't want to submit your own disputes if you are using a CRO.

He is a pro and he getting paid (but only after we are done) - He has experiance and knowledge, I can get the knowledge but more difficult with experiance - based on that I will let me do all the work.

Well, just wait until they're done with their disputes. Once you know it is clear then you can dispute again at any time. You just don't ever want to overlap disputes or it raises a red flag with the CRAs.

I have been doing credit repair for quite some time now and I'm glad you posted your concerns here.

Is he charging $50 per item per credit bureau? Thats ALOT! I used to charge a flat $300 for individuals and $500 for couples and I worked on their credit reports for a period of 6 months. I've deleted everything from inquiries to bankruptcies but no matter what I deleted or how much I deleted, you only paid one price.

As for the originals, it is needed in order to dispute with the credit bureau's and avoid red flags. You have the right to dispute your own credit so you have to remember, he is disputing on your behalf. In other words, he is sending in your disputes as if he is you - that's why the originals are needed. There is nothing wrong with that. It's as he says - that's how it works (he just didn't explain it in full details like I just did).

I wish you the best of luck!

Thank for your response - so here is how he does it..

Let's say I have 3 items Amex, Chase and Bof. on 3 reports.
So he is charging me $50 for each - total of $150.00 from all of the 3 reports.

BTW I've asked him if he is sending it on my behlaf or as me he told me he is sending it on my behalf - My question is can he talk to the credit companies on my behalf?

He can absolutely talk to creditors on your behalf! He has to get prior permission from you first. He could do this 2 ways. He can get you to sign written permission giving him the access to call on your accounts on your behalf or you can give the creditor verbal authorization once they have verified privacy with you over the phone and you can pass the phone to him and let him work his magic. I've done this many times.

It's funny because creditors seem to talk to their customers as if they aren't knowledgable at all (and will take advantage of their customers too!) and as soon as someone who knows their stuff gets on the phone, they begin to stutter. I always thought that was pretty funny.

As for what he charges - I think it is quite alot, but that's my opinion.

Just ask yourself this question - does this guy have your best interest in mind? (or is he just working for a paycheck?) You want to work with someone who cares about you as a person.

I think both - but the good thing is he gets paid at the end of the process - so It's not like I am paying him up front. As I have mentioned before he has experiance and knowledge and this is his field, so let him at it.

Althought, thanks for all of the comments that everyone has made. I will keep you posted on any updates.
