Default Questions about statue of limitations?

Hello, I'm new to the forum and have been reading for days. Thank you all for the great info! Heres the questions. The Statue of limitations in Florida where I live is 5 years. All of my bad credit is recent. Should I sit back and wait for 5 years before I do anything? And if I do that, I may as well wait the full 7 years I guess? What are the risks involved with trying to fix my credit when the accounts are within the SOL? Thank you in advance for any help.

Your opening your self up to being sued if you do nothing.Waiting for the sol is an option you have. The option for your creditors is getting a judgement, wage garnishment etc.If you judgement proof you still can get sued.Remember a judgement stays for 10 years and can be renewed. It will not go away.

If you never paid your debt you still owe it and because you try to wait out the sol. There not going to sit around and say oh while the sol is coming up.They want their money and if its a large amount.judgement proof is like social security, welfare etc.You need to address your debt,if you can't pay it then file bk.

Wow now I'm really confused:confused: It was my intention to deal with each of these accounts accordingly. I had already figured out that to file a BK was the easy way out. I came to this forum for help. Any moron can run away from his obligations and file a BK. The fact of the matter is most people on this forum have had some financial difficulties otherwise they would not be here. I think my question was quite clear. Simple answers without the senseless ramblings would be great. Again HOW SHOULD I PROCEED WHEN ALL OF MY DEROG ACCOUNTS ARE WITHIN THE STATUE OF LIMITATIONS??? I believe this is a very simple question. Thank you again, I think?

No shouting please. If you want a simple answer pay them, then they'll be marked as paid.If the oc still has them try to settle with them.If the ca has them try to pfd.You got answers of what would happen if you waited out the sol.Try disputing them, not all people who file bk are morons,if you ever had a long stay in the hospital see if you can pay that obligation.i gave you the answer to what was the risk if you tried to fix when its still under sol, thats what you asked.Maybe you didn't like the answer.I know i got the same answer from credit experts when i asked the same questions. Its not confusing nor is it rambling.:mad:

I filed bankruptcy, am I a moron?

That's what your creditors want you to think. They want you to feel shame...as they charge you 18% interest and keep you as their slave for life.

I founded this site to allow people to help others for free. No one here gets paid. They all do it out of kindness. When you type in all caps it's considered yelling and calling people names won't make them want to help you.

We understand that your problems are frustrating. We've been thru it. But, if you can't be cool, I will have to ban you. Thanks for understanding.

Sorry if I upset anyone, that was not my intention at all. So lets start over here. Sorry jj and sorry Chane.:o So jj, you say I can dispute? what are the drawbacks of doing that while the account is still within the statue of limitations? Understand I do not want to sit back and do nothing. Thats why I'm asking these questions. I think from here on out I will ask my questions 1 at a time as not to confuse the point I'm trying to get accross. Thanks again

If your not being hounded then disputing could wake up the sleeping dog. That could set off a round of letters and phone calls demanding payments and could set off being sued.I was trying to explain to you the worst case to you.Sometimes doing nothing if your not being hounded is the best course.Remember these companies have software that if you go out and try to get credit will trigger a response to you.So it is a hard question to answer.Don't worry i understand its very worrying. So to get the right answer is going to be hard to come up with. You will need to have patience and time to solve this problem.:D

Thank you jj, I think I will take my chances and dispute. Because I'm not going to awake anyone, they are all wide awake and hound the hell out of me lol.. And I do not think a pfd is a good idea in my state of Florida. I have already opted out and deleted my old personal info. So I will go banzi, I guess a bk is always an option if I go down in a ball of flames. 1 2 punch and disputes. Best course of action??
Thanks again,
Trainwreck
