My ex spouse has not paid medical bills that accrued after our divorce was finalized. He was still under my insurance policy though for a few months. The medical facilities and CAs are now trying to collect from me and have reported to all three CRAs. I'm trying to buy a house and this was unexpected. The doctors are saying that the bills are my responsibility, because he was on my insurance plan. We were divorced. How do I dispute this? Any help would be great!

First step is to make sure that these bills were reported to your credit report, it might even not be there. if is there medical bills are usually easy to come off..as far a paying them you have to work something out with your husband and the collection agencies.
