Default Many different collections, trying to clean up. Help :)

Hello

I've been attempting to clean up my credit for a few months now, and I have a few questions on how I should proceed.

I started by getting all three credit reports, then disputing the negative accounts (all collections). I received letters back from all the CRAs, and I got about half of them knocked off. I just have two quick questions on how to proceed:

1) For one of the accounts I disputed, it was listed on two CRA reports, and not the third. The two CRAs that I disputed it with came back saying they deleted it. However, I ran my credit again a few days ago, and now the account is listed with *all three* CRAs, despite the fact that two of them said they deleted it. Is there anything I can do?

2) One CA sent me a letter after hearing from a CRA. It was an old bank account that my ex signed me up for (without me knowing). I sent a rather generic letter asking for validation, and they sent me an old statement. They didn't send me anything with my signature, or anything besides a generic print-out saying they are authorized to collect the debt. If I've been reading the forums correctly, my best course of action is to send them a DV2 letter. Is this correct? Maybe combine it with a 1 2 punch?

Thanks for your help!

Once an account has been removed, the CRA must contact you to let you know that they are putting it back on, I believe they have 30 days to notify you. It might be less. I can't remember exactly where it states that, but I'm pretty sure it's in the FCRA. Find that particular part of the law and point it out to them. Demand that they remove it immediately.

Yes, that is correct.
