Default is it better to just pfd or dispute?

I'm not sure what to do with the several charged-off accounts I have on my CR. Would it be better to contact to OC for PFD or dispute the accounts? Any help would be appreciated!

I always dispute them first, then PFD only if they're not coming off.

Some times it will take 2 or 3 letters to get them to agree,so just keep plugging away.
