Does anyone know where I could find a template of a Good Faith Letter? I have been trying to search the site w/o any luck.

Thanks

This is a letter I've used. (I haven't had luck since one was a bank and have their guidelines, etc and wouldn't delete it - but I know this is close to standard that I've found)

This letter is in regards to our past account number xxxx.

I want to point out that we are not denying the fact that we were late on our payment. However, due to the circumstances at the time, we were unable to pay due to...................

We are asking for a DELETION submission to the credit bureaus of the 30 day late that is listed on my reports. This greatly affects our credit and scoring. It also doesn't help accurately reflect how we handle our financial obligations.

Thank you again for your first response in this matter and I'm hoping that your firm will do what is right this time and forgive this 30 day late so we can continue obtaining and paying on all of our obligations.

Best Regards,

oops - omit this part in last paragraph. This was a second letter I did to same creditor, but same concept.

and the 30day you can insert whatever the situation is.
