I got the same thing back too from Equifax. My letter was dated June 1st and they replied back on June 17th. It says my proof of identity doesn't match records on file ???) Say what? So, it says to send proof - utility bill, DL, ss card, or etc.
My husband also got a notice as if we were asking a question and it states that items remain on report for 7-10 years. COMPLETELY ignoring the fact that they had items listed and said date of removal to be April 2009. SOOOOO. who knows what the heck they are up too. Not helpful at all and it doesn't make sense to me since the 7 years were up on the ones I request removal on, besides the fact it said it on their own dang report!! craziness.
