Chane, how do you get these guys off your back "legally" when you are still within the SOL?

What do you mean by getting them off your back?

Do you want them off your credit report, do you want them not to sue you or do you want them to stop calling?

How much is the debt?

Well, all three would be great. The OC debt was around $20k. I am sure they bought it for $1,000 or less.

The last payment was made around a year and 4 months ago. That is a good question...... When does the SOL start for collecting purposes? Last payment made or when it charged off?

So, what happenes after the SOL runs out? Can they "legally" collect it or still sue you after the 3 years? I am sure they can try right?

so can they legally collect or just "attempt". I would assume that once the SOL is up, it's done and they cannot collect. I mean, why would you have an SOL anyway....right?
