So true but not without an agreement to remove it first.

okay, i still have mailed out my PFD letter and check.

the amount i owe is rouhgly $5,000... i am wondering what i should try to send to ensure the deletion?

should i put a short time limit on it saying "if you do not return the check by 20 days you accept the terms" or should i put something less? or even more?

i just want to make sure this is as fool proof as possible! i am going to try to offer them $500. i am sure that they sold the account for less than that! they already sold the car!

please help?! Someone? Chane? some of your "tough love" might be what i need for this :D

Ensuring a deletion...... with Americredit is wishful thinking. They won't budge regarding lates on PIF accounts. I highly doubt they will remove/delete the account.

You pretty much got your answer already below:

Anything that does not come with a guarantee is “wishful thinking”. But I will always wonder, if I don’t try.
I will be sending a PFD letter with a check for $500 to americredit today. I am going to overnight.

Wish me luck!
