Default Online Disputes

I disputed some of my negative entries on Experian online before I really started reading these forums. From now on I will do by mail, but 2 of my accounts came back as verified and updated within 24 hours (how is that possible??).

Experian doesn't really give you any information, just "updated." Can I request more detailed information of how they verified the account, and if so how? I mean really, how could they verify it in 24 hours.. what did they verify??

Sheesh

They used E-oscar,and the creditor just verified that it was your account,a quick tip never say its your account. If you really want detailed info dispute as not mine and you will get a letter from the creditor with everything they have on you.

What could I do at this point? Send a DV to the CA?

Also, I don't have a full account number for the CA, can they use this to stall?

Now that I disputed it online, I can't dispute it again unless I have additional information, correct?

Just use the number they have, you can find a lot of grounds to dispute on in their report.

Yeah, Ex has been a huge pita about disputing.........but you can dispute any TL on your report. If they pull the "previously verified" bs........there's a letter for that too.

This is funny but I disputed last night around 10:15 PM some old address with Experian and they came back at 3:20 AM as DELETED OMG I have never gotten that quick of an answer "EVER" but I do see something strange though- they have a SS# under my name that is "Not Mine" and 3 name variation I have never used? They would not let me dispute my namer variations though, I just noticed the SS# when I read my updated report this morning?

Call up Ex to dispute the ss# and the name variations. My dh had that problem (ss# variation) and it was deleted quickly.
For the name variations......it's possible one of your creditors has you listed incorrectly. It may be a simple mistake that will get removed easily.....but if Ex tells you it cannot be removed, then ask them which creditor is reporting your name that way and then you can contact them directly to have them correct it with the CRAs.
