OK guys, you have all been so helpful to me, when I disputed my late payments last month (which came back verified, which is BS) I could not find my payment history the bank gave me which showed incorrect info-well today going through paper work "I found it" now how do I handle this- since it came back "verified" which is incorrect thanks to E-Oscar and I am still within my 30 days with proof 3 of the late pays are incorrect what do I do. I went to the bank to talk with the Manager for incorrect reporting but she is gone for another week and will not be back until June 9th, my 30 days is up on the 4th. What do I do? This can be very frustrating so I want to thank all of you for your help!

Redispute with the CRAs and enclose copies of the proof you found. If it still comes back verified, contact the creditor to see if they will fix the error.

Do I start the dispute all over and wait 30 days?

Unfortunately........yes. You could always contact the creditor in the meantime (instead of waiting for the CRAs results) and it may move it along a little quicker. |
