Trish This is what i got from Cap 1 1.Changed pay status to payment/after collection. 2.Listed bk 7. This is from hsbc. 1.account in dispute the only change. 2.Still reports bk7. Now cap 1 is still wrong but its showing paid,even though its wrong.So i think i'll redispute.Hsbc i think i'll think what i want to do since they just gave me another credit card!Any suggestions.:p |

And so the hsbc one didn't change? Did they say it was verified? What exactly did you dispute on that one? |

| I disputed the high balance and it came back the same as before except its listed now as in dispute.At least cap1 one change it to paid collection i was wondering do you think i should leave it alone for now?it is saying paying after collection.:confused::confused::confused:

If the high balance is correct, then you may need to dispute for a different reason if you are trying to get it removed. The crap1 is the one that I'm curious about. I would think it's reporting incorrectly because you can't have "payment after collection" when it's an IIB account. How many times have you disputed the Crap1 acct? |

So if you have already disputed this crap1 account twice and they still aren't reporting it correctly. Send Crap1 a debt verification letter. Now you will have to modify it for you....I haven't read that letter in a while but you may need to reword some things since it's an IIB acct. But either way.....go to them now and KEEP GOOD RECORDS.......because if they ignore you, your next step is to file a complaint with the OCC. They are in violation of the BK courts.

That letter is not bad. The main thing you need to do is go over it carefully for grammatical errors but other than that the letter looks good to me. |
