I had my GF make me an AU on one of her cards. It is a store card that she doesnt use very often but has a decent CL. Does anyone know will I or her have to make a purchase on it before they start reporting on my CR, I do beleive I read that somewhere, but cant remember? I know that not all cards report for AU's alos just hoping this one does.

Most of the time it will take cycle to report but you could make a small purchase.

If her card has already been activated/used (which I would assume it has).......then no, you don't have to make a purchase (and there are only some cards that require you make a purchase).

What card is it? I found a list of cc's that report AUs.....I can see if I can find it again if you want.

But like jj said.....it usually takes a cycle or two before it shows up on your CR. So it may take about a month before you see it on your CR.

Its actually Victorias Secret, Ha Ha. She used to work there and has about $1500 on it with a $0 balance so I was hoping it would at least help a little. Guess I will have to wait and see.

I just looked around and it looks like Victoria's secret does report AUs....

But um.......on second thought, maybe you should buy something first. Maybe a present for your gf as thanks for putting you on her cc. lol :D
