A quick thought regarding WAMU

One more item about wamu.If wama is listing as paid would arrow have a claim to it or did they pull it back from arrow,and in the process of trying to collect on it by trying to get me to sign a reaffirm letter?

Here is what i received
I___________________did,in fact apply for the credit card referenced above.
I certify that I am no longer disputing my liability for this account and further certify that this account was not the result of a fraudulent application.
This Affirmation of Acceptance of Liability is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.
now if this isn't an attempt to start the process of collecting a debt than what is.

They also sent a letter if i wanted to claim it was a fraudulent application so they are trying to screw me over plus they signed the letter.
No i did not pay them Last payment was may of 2007,charged off inI may paid afs in june 2007.I have paper work from a third party that i paid both wama and afs so wama cannot claim late payments

Whatever you do, do NOT fill out that paperwork (I'm sure you already knew that. :p )

They are just wanting you to admit it's your account........OR claim fraud.
I would just ignore it and dispute the WAMU account again by certified mail.

I guess it's possible that they could have pulled the account from the CA.......hard to tell though.

The ca is still reporting it although my dh account is the same and they deleted his both wama and afs.Even if they had a gun i would never sign it although they produced a check from 12/2003 made out to proviadian which had nothing to do with the dispute which was about balances and other stuff.Some how the dispute ended up as i was questioning if it was mine.My thought is to dispute with cra again and wama directly.Its quite clear its reported wrong.
