okay, so i have been reviewing my credit report and the repo is showing up under the original lender as written off for $3124.00. however, i have been paying a CA/Law Firm for sometime now and my balance is only $740. How do I get this cleared up on my report? I am absolutely clueless about these thingS!!:mad:

Unfortunately.......what jj says is true. That one may be a hard one to get off. I have the same problem. I have been disputing a repo for years.....and it's still stuck there. I have tried literally everything. See if you can find ANYTHING inaccurate in the way it's reporting......and dispute that. If that doesn't work, you can either try disputing for a different reason or contacting the company directly. If they are reporting it correctly though.......I can tell you first hand, it will be a tough one. |
