Default dispute?

Hello,
I need some advice and hope someone can help. I disputed an item on my cr and it came back verified. I then re-disputed it and asked them to send me proof in writing that it was mine. The credit bureau sent me a letter stating this item was previously verified and my letter was frivolous. My ? is should I contact the creditor directly and ask them to send me proof? Will they even do that? If they can't verify it do I forward that letter to Transunion? Is there a certain time frame you have to wait to dispute it again?
Thanks

You would have to dispute with who gave them the information, remember all they report is what is sent to them. Why don't they believe you, because they were set up by the banking system so everybody you try to get credit with can see your credit history Your going to have to find another reason in the future to dispute this can't use the same reason again.

Yes, you need to go directly to the furnisher of information now. Write the creditor (this is an OC, not a CA....right?) a debt verification letter.

I really hate those frivolous letters.

Oh....no........sorry I thought this was an OC.
If it's a CA use one of the DV (debt validation) letters in the beginner's section........I would link you to it but I'm having major puter problems today. :p
