Question Lost In Chicago - Frivolous response

I have multiple violations with all three CRA's. TU's response to my METHOD OF VERIFICATION request was that my request was FRIVOLOUS. What is my next move?

What exactly are the violations? Just want to get some history/background to make sure I can give you the best advice.

Question Lost In Chicago

After requesting certain debts be validated with TU they verified everything as accurate. I then asked for a Method Of Verification. Their response to my request was my response was frivolous. Because they did not respond within 15 days they are in violation. What is my next move?

Not sure if there's really anything else you can do when it comes to TU's "frivolous" response. It basically means they think you're disputing is bs.

I have gotten the same response from them. I had to give it about a 3 month break and then dispute again.

So.....really you're only options (with the CRAs) are to just keep disputing.......which may just get you more frivolous letters, give it a 3 month break and then try again later.........OR contact TU's legal dept and tell them you are planning to sue them. Only thing is if you threaten a lawsuit , you better be ready to back it up......or they will not take you seriously again. You might just stay flagged.

Are they valid debts? What kind of debts are they? At this point, it might be a better idea to go after the FOI. Just a thought.
