I sent out a GW letter to get ONE 30 day late payment taken off of a student loan of my husbands. Here is the letter he got back:

Dear XXXX,

After reviewing the above mentioned account, XXXX has deicded not to remove any of the negative credit history which occured on your account. It is not our policy to change any archived payment history that is reported correctly to the credit reporting agencies.

If you have any questions feel free to contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Sincerely,

XXXX Service Center

Is there anything else we can do? Continue to send GW?

Student loans will be very difficult. You can try calling them, sending more GW letters (if you can, try and find someone in upper mgmt to write to).

If those don't work, you can try disputing them with the CRAs.
