Short Sale appearing on Credit Report

can anyone advise on how to dispute " short sales" and what are the banks allowed to report on your credit report when a short sale appears......my file is already showing late payments with WAMU .......then I was able to negotiate a short sale and now I have a derogatory reporting the short sale........so in affect I now have 2 derogatory tradelines reporting virtually the same account number.

Hmm........yeah, not sure why it would be reported twice.
Can you post exactly how both of them are being reported (from your CRs)? Be sure to leave out any personal information or account numbers.

I might be able to help a little more once I can see how it's being reported.......but it sounds like a duplicate entry.
