Default Opt Out of Lexis Nexis?

I was wondering if I should opt out of LN?

Are they're any other places like LN that collect your info & are used by CRA's to verify info?

Do I dispute this like a CR? Personal Info first then TL's one by one? Any sample letters?

Default Innovis & LN paid or free?

Is the 45day for free copies & 30 day for paid copies used w/ these companies also?

Opting out at the link given in the opt out thread will opt you out from EX, EQ, TU and Innovis. You have to go directly to LN to opt out with them........and yes, I would. You should opt out anywhere you can to keep from getting your information sold or shared.

Last I looked, you had to pay for a report from LN........and good luck with disputing, you basically can't with them. They don't consider themselves a credit reporting agency.

Default Disputing LN

Oh, I had no idea you couldnt dispute. So, just opting out of LN & innovis is what I should do? I havent disputed anything yet b/c I still cant get a paid copy of my CR from TU. They are always telling me I cant buy 1 copy. They cant verify my info for a paid one but can send me 5 free ones. They're idiots!!! Thanks for the advice.

Opting out through the optoutprescreen site will take care of the big 3 plus Innovis and then yes, opt out through the LN website.

I've never heard of anyone having such trouble with TU.
If it's that much of a pain,........I would go ahead and just dispute off of the free one then.......or if you use a credit monitoring service, dispute through them.
