I have one Secured Credit Card and I'm trying to get another. I talked to someone at a local bank and they recomended a card from elan. I asker them how they viewed an applicant with a former Bankrupty on their credit report. They said it was alright. They didn't seem like they knew the answers to some of the other questions I was asking, so I called the card company and asked them the same question about Bankruptcy. They said it would be ok as well. I sent in $1,500 with an application and a week later I got a letter saying that they wouldn't issue me a card because of a Bankruptcy on my report. Is there anything I can do about the Credit Inquiry now? Thanks, |

No....unfortunately there isn't. You gave them permissible purpose to pull your report. If it's only one pull, it shouldn't be hurting your score though. |
