Question Secured Cards

I have one Secured Credit Card and I'm trying to get another.
I talked to someone at a local bank and they recomended a card from elan.
I asker them how they viewed an applicant with a former Bankrupty on their credit report.
They said it was alright.
They didn't seem like they knew the answers to some of the other questions I was asking, so I called the card company and asked them the same question about Bankruptcy.
They said it would be ok as well.
I sent in $1,500 with an application and a week later I got a letter saying that they wouldn't issue me a card because of a Bankruptcy on my report.
Is there anything I can do about the Credit Inquiry now?

Thanks,

No....unfortunately there isn't.
You gave them permissible purpose to pull your report.
If it's only one pull, it shouldn't be hurting your score though.
