Sending in Personal Info

I know it says in one of these links to send in w/ dispute letters a copy of your drivers license, ss card, etc, but it is absolutely necessary & will it have any negative affect in the long run?

Yes, it's absolutely necessary, if you want the disputes to go through. If you don't send in copies, they will send you a stall letter saying they can't verify it's you and I don't think there is really anyway around that.

I would prefer not sending them copies of my information either. It's very personal and they are not a government agency or anyone I trust. In fact, I distrust them very much. It's bullshit, but it's part of the game.
