You just need to write something simple....

Dear CRA,

My name is *your name here*
My SS# is xxx-xx-xxxx

I am sending this letter certified mail # xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx to make sure that you receive it.

Upon reviewing my credit report #xxxxxxxxxxxx, I have noticed several inaccuracies. The following addresses are incorrect:

*list all addresses you wish to dispute as they appear on your CR*

Please investigate these as I have never lived at any of these addresses.

Please send me with an updated copy of my credit report once your investigation is complete.

Thank you,

Hi Trish, thank you for replying. I have done OPT-OUT before yesterday, so it said that it takes 5 bussines days. How can i find that opt-out is complete? And is it ok to start disputing while I applied for credit card recently?
Also, I have checked my CR and I found there only 2 different addresses, first one is my old (12 years) address and the second one is my current address. So I am going to dispute for only one my old address. What else should I dispute to delete?

I don't think there's a way to check the status of opt out. If there is I've never heard of it. If you have the ability to check your CR online......you can always check it in a few days. It will say on your report "file blocked for promotional purposes" or something like that.

Yes, you can still dispute even though you applied for credit recently.......that won't affect anything.

As far as personal info......delete anything and everything. You have to have a current address, name and ss#.........any variations or anything else does not have to be on there. So employment history, phone numbers, name variations.......it can all be disputed off.

1. As i told you I want to repair my sister's CR. I have opened her CR by True Credit and I found many charged offs, collections and 4 judgements. I found that there isnt her current address reported on her CR personal file. Now I want to opt out her CR, should I opt out with her current address which is NOT reported on her CR. If not, please, tell me what should I do.

2. Also, i see about 17- 22 derogatory accounts on her CR. After opt out, I am going to dispute for deleting her all address, SSN, phone #... . My question is, after deleting those info, should I start disputing all delinquency accounts together in one time, or I have to do part to part?

Read here for a good starting point:

Basic Step by Step Beginner's Guide to Credit Repair

It will give you the first steps to take.....plus a little more info on disputing.

For your sister.....she needs to have her address updated with the CRAs first......then opt out using the updated/current address.

Is it ok, if she update her address CRA over the phone? She doesnt have any open (acive) credit cards or loans, all accounts are (closed inactive). If you know any other way, please, post me.

She can try that but they may have her send in proof of ID and current address.

Hi
Recently I went to Chase (washington mutual) Bank branch for deposit my check to my checking account and the bank teller told me that I qualified and pre approved for Chase Credit Card. She told me that I only need to give them an authorization. I did and she told me you will receive a result of appliacation by mail within 7-10 days. Now I receive a decline letter from Chase, the reasons for our decision are as follows:

Previous unsatisfactory relationship with this banK

I am sure 100% this is BS (not true).

Just I want to tell you that Chase Bank closed my four credit cards a year ago with no reason because I contact Chase and I talk to them and they agreed that I am a excellent customer. The bank assistant told me they should reopen my accounts, but it never happened, they send me a letter which said they couldnt reopen and I didnt found any reason. Whatever, I stopped.

Now I want to complain to Federal Trade Commission regarding this issue.
Before complaining, I want to write a letter to Chase and request a proof of my unsatisfactory relationship with them. I am sure they cant provide me a proof and I know they couldnt decline my application based on my Credit Report, because my credit history is excellent.

What do you think and what do you recommend?

What i think the upper management of chase should be taken out of corp.headquarters by pitch fork and herded to town square and taken care of.(just a dream.)You might try a goodwill letter to them to get an answer and go from there.
